- Getting Flash Player working on your Modern PC - METHOD 1 - The "convenient" method: This method is simple and only requires your existing (modern) browser and one extension. Visit https://ruffle.rs/ and install the browser extension. Then just check http://joncoale.tk/flashtest.html and you should see a green box with the text "GOOD" in it. If you see an orange play button appear instead, just click it. Ruffle may not automatically start flash content and you'll simply need to click this button on each flash element in order for it to start running. This method works okay, but is buggy, laggy, and has compatibility issues. METHOD 2 - The "easy" method: This one is very simple. Install this browser: https://archive.org/details/basilisk-portable-with-flash And just use it for the site. It comes preloaded with Flash 32 already installed, and i've tested it to work on my site. It is less secure and has some lag problems, but it gets you the true flash experience. METHOD 3 - The "true" method: This method will likely run a lot better than ruffle, and gets you the "true" experience of Flash. 1. Track down an older browser version or a fork of an older browser supporting NPAPI plugins. I reccomend using this https://www.basilisk-browser.org/ or using an old copy of FireFox. 2. Get Flash Player. You can probably find an old copy on the Internet Archive. If youre too lazy (or dumb) to look for yourself, you can also try this: https://mega.nz/file/Qr4AQYRB#kdhS5_3Nq6wpX3YLa49q17jP3bxWvuTzP4cBy8ILcZg It should PROBABLY work fine. (I haven't tested it fully so IDEK LAWLZ) METHOD 4 - Disabling the timebomb: This method allows you to use a timebombed version of flash in the current year. It requires you know how to use a hex editor and whatnot, so if you REALLY want to use a timebombed flash player, just check out this post on /f/ from 2021 explaining how: https://archived.moe/f/thread/3453189/#3454797
