I first started working on this website 4 years ago, originally there was no flash portal, but eventually I decided to create a page on my site where I would post my own flash animations, which would eventually become the main purpose of the site.

I've been consistently trying to make changes to the website to make it the best I can, I still have lots of work to do (I still need to fix the HORRIBLE JavaScript used for the Image and Flash viewer pages). But I've not made much progress on anything.

I've lost a lot of the motivation I had to keep working on new flash animations, taking months to release an animation that really should only take maybe a day or two to finish due to my tendency to go weeks without working on anything at all. In addition to this I've lost much of my drive to try to improve, knowing that I don't really know how to "draw" or "animate" at all.

Theres much more related to those points I could go into detail forever about, but I choose to leave it at that. Irregardless this and many more points are the reason why I havent released any frequent updates in a long time.

There are many things I wish to do for the site, I want to make changes to the theme of the site to celebrate holidays like christmas (which is today, actually) but I end up pushing it off until I'm out of time to reasonably make those changes.

This is not an announcement of a hiatus, however. This is quite the opposite of that. I plan to try to put as much of my focus as I realistically can on continuing to work on my website. I have a flash animation I'm working on right now, that hopefully I can finish quite soon, and that will be the push I need to start making more consistent updates to my website.

If anything, expect more to come in the future of joncoale.tk, things have been silent for a while, but soon I plan to pick up the pace and start releasing more and more content for the website. It's only a matter of time.
